Media Fraud, Incompetence, and Bias Promotes Election Fraud and Political Corruption
The news media and entertainment industry fraud, incompetence, and bias are major factors promoting election fraud and political corruption. In addition to outright fraud and an overall lack of competence within the news media and the entertainment industry on public policy issues, media bias is a major fraud factor. Surveys have shown that an overwhelming majority of the decision makers who control the content of the news media, typically at least 85 percent, are self-described liberal and leftist Democrats (e.g., the Lichter-Rothman Study). Only about 5 percent are self-described conservatives. The remainder describe themselves as centrists and may be anywhere on the political map because most people view themselves as centrists. This massive media imbalance and failure to be a competent watchdog for fraud and corruption involving Democrats promotes widespread election fraud and political corruption within the Democrat Party. In fact, prominent members of the media and media organizations are often enthusiastic willing accomplices to election fraud and political corruption. Conversely, Republicans are much less prone to engage in election fraud and political corruption for several reasons. First, it violates their basic principles and value system. Second, the media will distort and exploit any real scandal, and even non-existent fabricated scandals, in a prolonged damaging propaganda campaign to discredit and destroy the future of effective Republican representatives. Thus, the media is a watchdog on steroids with rabies when it comes to Republicans, but a lap dog when it comes to Democrats. And third, the Republicans simply have less organization structure, experience, and expertise at election fraud and political corruption, while the Democrats have a powerful organization structure and decades of experience in stealing elections and conducting political fraud. Also, the liberal Democrats view anyone who disagrees with them and opposes their agenda as downright evil, rather than someone who has researched the relevant information and simply disagrees for good reason on which government policies are best for the governed. Liberal Democrats believe that the end justifies any means to prevail over those they view as evil and as political adversaries. They believe there is no point in public debate with opponents whom they view as both wrong and evil. And they believe there is no point in public debate because they know better what is good for ordinary people than those ordinary people know what is good for themselves. It is not uncommon for Liberal Democrats, including elected officials, to shout down and make snake-like hissing noises at public speakers with whom they disagree. They behave as though Freedom of Speech belongs only to those with whom they agree. In contrast, Republicans and conservatives view liberal Democrats as misinformed people who think with emotion rather than logic and facts. Republicans and conservatives have a value system that compels them to support their policies through public education and debate rather than election fraud and political corruption. They welcome fair debate with a level playing field. However, they are usually denied any debate forum at all, and when given the opportunity to debate, are typically faced with an unfair tilted playing field and numerous opponents including the moderator. This is a significant reason for the popularity
among conservative audiences and participants of talk radio shows and the
internet. After being shut out of most newspapers, magazines, and broadcast
media for decades, talk radio and the internet are attractive means of
getting past the barriers of liberal media bias. Conversely, liberals who
are content with the media mirroring their views and reporting their opinions
as news do not have as strong a need to participate in these real free
speech forums.
What can people do to reduce the ill affects of media fraud, incompetence, and bias? First, get your information from more reliable and honest sources, such as those talk radio shows and web sites listed on our links page. Get high quality information from talk radio and the internet, and call multiple talk radio shows and use the internet to help spread this information to the public. Second, research the positions and records of candidates for public office and then actively support the candidates of your choice. Donate time, money, and/or professional services. Everyone should have some amount of at least one of these to donate. Remember: "The price of liberty is eternal vigilance". And let the candidates know that you expect them to remain honest and true to your common principles. Be precise rather than vague when making demands on candidates. Let them know that you will support them if they remain honest, but that you will withdraw future support if they let you down. Participate in talk radio and the internet, and/or donate money or professional services to help level the playing field and offset the ill affects of media bias and incompetence. Conservative and centrist candidates must rely on volunteers and purchased advertising time to get their message to the public and the voters. Third, actively oppose fraudulent "campaign finance reform" schemes that give much more power to the media by arbitrarily restricting freedom of speech and the ability of candidates and organizations to raise and spend money to counter media disinformation and get around the barriers of media bias. Furthermore, actively support real campaign finance reforms that either prohibit or require periodic explicit written permission for payroll deductions that are spent by unions or employers for political purposes. And fourth, volunteer on election day to help get out the vote or act as a poll watcher or election observer. But remember that the most effective election campaigns are those run every day of every year, not just several months before an election. This is especially true because the media engages in political campaigning every day of every year! |
